Long Bio (~200 words)

Originally from Scotland, Eilidh Campbell and Andy Webster are long-time friends and musical partners, having met while studying music together in Glasgow in the 1990s. After years of touring and recording together — including becoming finalists in the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award — they both found themselves living not far from each other in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Between them, Eilidh and Andy have performed and recorded with some of the most respected names in folk and roots music, including Belle and Sebastian, Old Man Luedecke, Leahy, and Dougie MacLean — experiences that have deeply informed their musical sensitivity, creativity, and command of the stage.

Building on almost 30 years of shared musical history, Eilidh and Andy draw from the rich well of their Scottish heritage, weaving traditional tunes and songs together with a growing catalogue of original compositions, all delivered through finely crafted and expressive arrangements.

The uniqueness of this duo is unmistakable. When Eilidh and Andy perform, there is both a yearning for their homeland and a heartfelt love for their adopted home on Canada's East Coast. Eilidh's effortless, lyrical fiddling combines seamlessly with Andy's rhythmic, dynamic guitar and bouzouki playing to create a truly captivating sound — always enriched by the warmth, humour, and deep musical trust shared between these two lifelong friends.
